Step Inside My Studio for London Artists Open Studios

I’m thrilled to be opening my studio doors as part of London Artists Open Studios. This annual event is such a wonderful opportunity for the public to step behind the scenes and experience how artists work.

My practice is rooted in abstract expressionism. I draw inspiration from the Irish coastline, exploring movement, memory, and energy through layered mark-making. I’m looking forward to welcoming you into my creative space. During your visit, you’ll discover my finished works and the story behind them.

My Painting Practice

I work primarily with oil paint, oil bar, and colour pencil, building up and breaking down surfaces to explore contrasts between control and chance. There’s a physicality to my process—it’s layered, often raw, and always evolving.

My current work includes two main series: abstract landscapes influenced by the rugged Irish coast (inspired during an art residency), and a newer floral series exploring colour, rhythm, and form more playfully. You’ll find contemporary paintings, limited edition prints, and original abstract art all available to view—and purchase—during the open studio.
