Commission A Painting
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working on numerous commissions for national and international clients. Commissioning an original painting is a unique and personalized way to acquire art tailored to your requirements and perfectly fits a chosen space in your home, office, or serve as a meaningful gift.
How does it work?
The commissioning process is straightforward and designed to be as seamless as possible.I begin by discussing the client’s preferences, including the desired style, color palette, size, and the specific space where the artwork will be displayed, every step is clear and collaborative. Most clients select a piece from my current collection to act as a guide for the visual direction they want to move towards.
The Details
Once we’ve finalized the details, I will provide a contract outlining our agreement. A 40% deposit is required to start the painting, with the remaining 60% due upon completion. As I work with oil paints, I typically allow about three months for completion to ensure the painting is fully dry before delivery.
Can you frame?
I can assist you with framing options, and if you prefer, your painting can be framed in-house at my studio by my skilled framer, James, from Art Bench Framing.
Do you offer international shipping?
Each commission can be shipped internationally with care and expertise, handled by my logistics specialist, Martin, from Atelier Sturgess. This service ensures that your custom artwork is delivered safely and seamlessly to you.
By choosing to commission an artwork, you are investing in a piece that is tailored to your taste via my painting aesthetic.
