Yellow Tops small-scale floral paintings is part of my ongoing Floral Series, where I explore flowers not as literal forms but as starting points for colour, rhythm, and exploring a new look at floral still life painting. In these paintings, I focus on the feeling of flowers—their lightness, upward movement, and gentle presence in an interior space.

Colour and Light

Light continues to guide my work. In Yellow Tops small-scale floral paintings, working at this 30 × 30 cm scale allows me to explore subtle shifts in tone and texture, creating paintings that invite slow looking and quiet reflection.

This attention to colour and abstraction is central to my Abstract Floral Paintings, where light and form play together to poke at the typical still-life floral painting.

Scale and Dialogue

Yellow Tops is titled and signed on reverse of the frame. It is ready to hang with D-rings and string and will sit easily of a nail or screw.
