May 2024: How to commission a painting

If you would like to commission a painting, please get in touch with any questions you have. With each client I first discuss what style, palette, and size they are interested in and if they have a specific place they would like to hang the painting.

I will then send a contract detailing what has been agreed upon. I ask for a 50% deposit to begin the painting and 50% on completion. I give a general guide of three months to complete a painting as I work in oil paint and it is important that the painting is fully dry before being delivered. During the making of the painting I will send update photos so the client is part of the creative journey. With each commission I make two paintings. I find it easier to work on more than one painting at a time and its a nice option for the client to be a ble to choose which painting they want
