Over the years, I’ve developed an appreciation for creating Irish art prints—not just as a way to share my work more widely but also as a way for people to connect with the beauty of the Irish landscape through contemporary abstract art. The Story Behind My Prints

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to participate in the wonderful Cill Rialaig art residency along Ireland’s wild Atlantic coast. It was during that time that I began developing what’s now my abstract landscape painting series, inspired by the constantly shifting beauty of the Irish coastline.

That residency was a pivotal moment in my creative journey—it gave me the time and space to explore, experiment, and, most importantly, play with abstract form and colour in response to the residency’s location in Co.Kerry.

More recently, I’ve started working on a floral series, which represents a thematic shift in my painting practice while exploring new techniques and perspectives on colour and movement through layers of mark-making. I now offer prints from both series as original fine art prints, so you can bring a piece of my creativity into your own space.

From Studio to Print

I work primarily with oil paint, building up layers of colour and texture to create depth and movement. Once a painting is finished, I collaborate with a specialist fine art photographer at Atelier Sturgess to capture every detail—from brushstrokes to surface texture. The final abstract art prints are carefully proofed to ensure they reflect the essence of the original.

So while a print might be more affordable than an original painting, it still carries the heart of my process and practice.
