May 2019: Selling Art Online: A New Chapter

Yay- selling art online via a new website has been on my ‘to-do’ list for a ridiculously long time—it’s been most satisfying to finally cross it off! I’m not the most technically minded person, so getting it done was a task. In my head, I had built the idea of making a new website into such a big deal, but really, it’s been fun as I’ve learned a lot about the online art market.

A Fresh Online Space for My Work

My work has always been about texture, layering, and depth. Translating that into an online space was a challenge. I wanted a website that felt true to my practice, authentic and reflective of me as an artist. Now, my paintings have a dedicated digital home, making it easier for people interested in buying art online to explore my work.

Finding New Clients and Opportunities

Selling art online isn’t just about having a website—it’s about reaching new people. Whether its a collector or art consultants, having an online presence means my work can be seen by a wider audience. I’m already seeing new opportunities come my way. I’ve had interest from those looking to buy original art online, commission orders and studio bookings since launching my website.

Selling Art Locally and Connecting Online

For those who love seeing art in person, each year I take part in Open Studios at Delta House Studio. This is a great opportunity to view my work up close, meet me in my creative space, and discuss my process.
